“After John’s accident, it felt like I had hundreds of extra responsibilities. I could feel the stress increasing.”
Of course I felt sorry for John, and I could see that he felt guilty having to rely on me for everything.
With everything else that was going on, I didn’t have time to research the WAV market – after all, I know nothing about them.
With the added pressure of John relying on me so heavily, I became aware that mistakes could easily be made when you don’t know what you are looking for. I wanted what was best for him.
Thank goodness we found Fleximobility. They made it so easy – they didn’t even talk about cars to begin with – they really were more concerned with finding out what we needed first, taking into account John’s special wheelchair and making sure I can reach him if he needs me while we’re traveling. I wouldn’t even have thought of that. Then they gave us a few options that would be perfect for us. In the end we decided to buy a second-hand WAV, and Linda delivered it personally.
I felt at ease, knowing everything was being taken care of, so I could concentrate on looking after John.
In a year or two he may not need the chair, so it’s great to know that Fleximobility will buy back the car at a guaranteed price.
